TWO FOREIGNERS ARE IN LOCAL POLICE CUSTODY following the discovery of
suspected illegal drugs in an aircraft which in Orealla, East Berbice/Corentyne (Region Six)
A Guyana Police Force blotter Thursday said ranks discovered the green and white aircraft
bearing the number PT-SRR. Following a search the investigators unearth what they suspect to
be the cocaine.
The Police press release said the two males – the pilot and a passenger have been detained for
questioning. The statement said ranks found a number of wrapped packages they suspected to be
cocaine in the body of the aircraft.
More police investigators have been dispatched to grill the two suspects.
The pilot reportedly had in his possession Brazilian ID cards.
