The Regional Democratic Council (RDC) Region Ten is determined to complete its 16 Capital
projects for 2020. This is according to a senior official of the Region. The official disclosed that
with the 2020 emergency budget being approved, they remain confident that the region will get
its projects executed.
The official noted that they remain optimistic of exacting the sixteen projects considering that the
recently appointed Regional Executive Officer (REO), Dwight John had been engaging the
relevant stakeholders and getting the ‘ground’ work done thus ensuring that the projects will be
executed.
“The REO is very busy working extremely hard and we are confident that with his style of
operation so far that we can get these Capital Works projects out of the way as we are
determined to complete them,” the official said.
“REO John’s intentions are clear as he announced it when he arrived that his primary objective is
getting the work done and doing it effectively and efficiently with the support and assistance of
all stakeholders including the staff so while we are already in November, these projects will be
executed. This will ensure that the commitment made to the people of Region Ten will be
delivered. Government is serious and committed to Region Ten as many would have heard in the
2020 budget presentation so things are getting done and we are certain that with the enormous
work being done by the REO and tea,, these projects certainly will be executed,” the official said.
Attempts by www.aroundtheregions.com to solicit a comment from the REO, Dwight John was
unsuccessful.
