Jamaican reggae superstar, Christopher Martin is appealing to fathers to set examples for their
children to emulate. He believes that fathers’ must be in the vanguard of national development
for the betterment of succeeding generations.
The International icon made this revelation during an exclusive interview with reporter, Rawle
Nelson of www.aroundtheregions.com.
In the interview, the father of two daughters celebrates the good fortune of growing up
witnessing his father leading a responsible and respectable life. As a consequence, he credits this
for heavily influenced the uplifting lyrics of his songs.
Martin, who is a former Digicel Rising Star Champion, burst onto the international music scene
and is still a hit globally with his genre of music recognised as ‘Lovers Rock’.
He is convinced it’s every father’s responsibility to contribute positively and meaningfully to the
evolution of every society.
