The Ministry of Health (MOH) hereby advises that the National Public Health Reference
Laboratory is still in the process of validating the COVID-19 test results from yesterday,
October 5, 2020.
These unvalidated test results include those received from both public and private
laboratories.
As a consequence, the MOH is unable to issue the full content of the Daily Dashboard for
today, October 6 th , 2020. Hence, for the row with “NUMBER OF NEW CASES”, the figure is
replaced with “NA” (not available).
This is in keeping with COVID-19 reporting guidelines, as no new positive case can be
reported until validation.
However, in order not to delay the submission, the MOH took a decision to release the Daily
Dashboard minus the test results from yesterday, but with current information on
recoveries, deaths and institutional isolation, along with other usual details.
The MOH sincerely apologises for this and assures members of the public that the test
results for yesterday will be released as soon as they are validated.
