Osafo Pollard
The police say they are investigating the suspected murder of Osafo Pollard, 29, a taxi
driver of West La Penitence which occurred at about 10.30 pm yesterday at North East
La Penitence.
Enquiries disclosed that a loud explosion similar to a gunshot was first heard followed
by persons screaming and running away after which Pollard was seen lying with a
wound to his head. He was subsequently picked up and taken to the Georgetown
Public Hospital where he died at about 12.20 am today while receiving treatment. A
wound was seen to his head.
The body is presently at the hospital mortuary, awaiting a Post Mortem Examination.
