-regional outreaches on the agenda
The Ministry of Housing and Water is resuming its ‘Open Day’ exercise to allow the public to meet the Ministers and staff to have their matters addressed. This exercise will also be held across the regions as the Ministry continues to decentralise its services.
The exercise will be hosted every Wednesday, starting from tomorrow.
Minister Hon. Collin Croal said the exercise is part of the Ministry’s 2021 programme to speedily address the needs of the public.
“I will continue to have Open Days but I will do it within the regions, as part of the reaching out to persons who may have issues…[and] as part of my new year’s programme.”
Minster Croal also said the regional outreaches are an effective method to serve the citizenry and avoid people having to travel from far distances to the Brickdam office.
The Ministry says a schedule for the regional ‘Open Day’ exercises will be published soon.
The public is also advised that all COVID-19 measures would be observed.
