NCB CAPITAL MARKET’S SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT (VP) STACY-ANN TAIT WILL FEATURE at the three-day 19th Conference of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) opening next week in Kingston at the Pegasus.
The JSE’s theme for this year’s programme is, ‘The Drivers of Capital: From Concept to Growth’.
Tait spearheads the development of NCB Capital Markets business strategy for its proprietary investment portfolios across multiple jurisdictions while leading the Trading & Portfolio Management Teams.
She is highly-motivated, goal-oriented and ambitious individual with a passion for finance and a desire to excel in her field, always.
Tait has been on an ongoing campaign stressing the importance of her countrymen and women maximising investment opportunities despite the current economic climate. She has also been stressing the benefits of equity financing. During a media interview, the financial expert said despite rising interest rates and high inflation, there is “always a bull market and there’s always an opportunity”.
For her, in the prevailing global economy, equity financing – whether private or public – can be important in driving growth.
In her 16 years in the financial services industry, she has accumulated a vast array of expertise in portfolio management, risk management, fund management and corporate finance, in her presentation, Tait is expected to offer sound investment advice to participants.
Qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) she was a member of its Board of Directors of CFA from 2018 to 2021.
Tait holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Banking & Finance from the University of the West Indies (UWI) serves as a business advisor and mentor to Clean Crew Jamaica
